Food Safety
SK Chemtrade Services is committed to excellence in the manufacture and distribution of our products, as well as stringent compliance to global food safety standards and food manufacturing hygiene regulations. To achieve this, we have implemented and maintain a Food Safety and Quality Management System based on recognised international and local food safety and quality standards and regulations.
SK Chemtrade’s manufacturing operations in Cape Town is proudly certified against the global FSSC 22000 V5.1 food safety standard by NSF International.
The Johannesburg distribution facility holds a R.638 Certificate of Acceptability, and an ISO 22000 food safety management system as well as ISO/TS 220002:1 and SANS10049:2020 prerequisite programs have been implemented.
Religious Certifications
SK Chemtrade’s manufacturing operations in Cape Town is audited and inspected frequently by both SANHA (Halaal) as well as the Beth Din (Kosher). We supply a wide range of products that are Halaal and/or Kosher certified.
