SK Chemtrade is a leading supplier of natural and artificial sweetener systems to the food and beverage industry.  We provide single and blended sweetener solutions for reduced sugar and zero sugar / no added sugar applications, including traditional non-nutritive sweeteners such as sucralose, acesulfame-K, aspartame, cyclamate and saccharine, as well as natural options such as stevia and monk fruit concentrate.

Through our in-house innovations laboratory, we offer services to match sweeteners, and apply sweetener systems in end products together with flavour and mouthfeel performance solutions required when reducing or removing added sugar in food and beverages.

We also offer a range of natural sugar alternatives that provide sweetness and enhance flavour in foods. This includes real honey, maple syrup and molasses powders.

One of the popular sweeteners supplied by SK Chemtrade is Sucralose. Sucralose is a non-caloric, high-intensity sweetener that is derived from real sugar through a multi-step process. It is an excellent sugar alternative that is 600 times sweeter than sugar. Sucralose is safe for use as a sweetening ingredient and is widely used in the food and beverage industry.

One of the benefits of Sucralose is its stability in a wide range of pH values from acidity to neutrality. Unlike other high-intensity sweeteners, Sucralose is very stable in different pH ranges, which makes it an ideal sweetener for a wide range of products. Its thermal stability is also much better than any other high-intensity sweeteners. This means that it can be used in products that require high-temperature processing without breaking down.

Another advantage of Sucralose is its solubility. The solubility of Sucralose in 20℃ water is 28.2g/100ml, and it increases as the temperature rises. This makes it easier to use in products that require high solubility. Additionally, Sucralose has excellent solubility in ethanol, which makes it a suitable sweetener for alcohol beverage production.

Sucralose is a non-nutritive sugar alternative, which means that it does not provide any calories. This makes it an ideal sweetener for people who are watching their weight or trying to manage their blood sugar levels.
